Do you like algorithms and using your brain to solve problems?

Would you like to learn more about competitions where this is exactly what you have to do to win?

Then come to our Introduction to Competitive Programming event! 

We’ll have Giovanni, a member of the LUG who’s passionate about this sort of competitions, explain the basics of how Competitive Programming works, and what skills you will need to take part in it. Then Dario, a member of Sapienza’s Competitive Programming team SapienzaBlack that took part in SWERC for some years in a row, will tell us more about his experience and also do a practical example of a challenge.

 

What you need to participate:

  • Registration via link.
  • A PC able to run code in your favorite programming language(we recommend no older than 10 years).
  • An internet connection suitable for video streaming (minimum 7-10 Mbps download).

Where:

The event will take place online via the BigBlueButton web platform, accessible through the most common browsers without having to sign up.
